Samantha Bernards: Director

Began work with Tri-County CWMA in summer of 2015. She has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Rangeland Ecology and Management with an emphasis in Rangeland Science from Oregon State University. Her graduate thesis focused on grassland succession and old field seed banks in the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.

Began work with Tri-County CWMA in April of 2016. Graduated from Oregon State University satellite campus in La Grande, Oregon with a Bachelors of Science in Rangeland Ecology and Agriculture Science with a minor in Animal Science. Previousely worked as a field technician for Oregon State University as summer employment in Union, Wallowa, and Harney Counties.

Noxious Weed Specialist

Began work with Tri-County CWMA in June of 2017.  Graduated from Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon with a Master's of Education and a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics.  Previously worked as a field and lab technician for the University of Idaho as well as a high school mathematics teacher in Idaho. 

Paige Landon:

Seasonal Field Technician

Began work with Tri-County CWMA in June of 2017.  Graduated from Oregon State University in La Grande, Oregon with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Science.  Previously held an internship for Harney County SWCD.
